Algarve 2020: Applications open to support associations

 

In the Algarve, 5 competitions were opened to business entities with projects specifically focused on the fields of tourism, the sea, agro-food, ICT and cultural and creative industries.

ALG-52-2018-20 – FINANCIAL SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR COLLECTIVE ACTIONS INTERNATIONALIZATION - Sea, Agri-food, ICT and Cultural and Creative Industries

Beneficiaries: Business associations, non-corporate entities from the R & I system, agencies and public entities, among others.

Projects should preferably promote the valorisation of endogenous products and / or the relationship between tourism and the Sea, Agro-food, ICT and Cultural and Creative Industries domains.

The budget allocation attributed to this competition is 500,000 euros.

Applications will run until 7:00 pm on October 30, 2018.

 

ALG-52-2018-21 – FINANCIAL SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR COLLECTIVE ACTIONS - INTERNATIONALIZATION - Tourism

Beneficiaries:  Business associations, non-corporate entities from the R & I system, agencies and public entities, among others.

These projects must contribute to valorize the creation of critical mass for the joint promotion of products that allow the mitigation of seasonality, especially in the field of health tourism, senior, nature, nautical, business, gastronomy, among others.

The budget allocation attributed to this competition is 500.000 euros.

Applications will run until 7:00 pm on October 30, 2018.

 

ALG-53-2018-22 – FINANCIAL SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR COLLECTIVE ACTIONS - QUALIFICATION

Beneficiaries: Business associations, non-corporate entities from the R & I system, agencies and public entities, among others.

The objective is to improve the competitiveness of companies and stimulate business investment in the region.

In this sense, this support is exclusively intended to support projects that fall within the areas of RIS 3 Algarve and to develop strategies that respond to at least one of the following priorities:

• Guiding SMEs, providing them with the knowledge, information and tools to develop innovative activities that contribute to their progression in the value chain;

• Raise awareness and enable SMEs to promote and intensify innovative and qualified activities;

• Foster the inclusion of SMEs in the digital economy, sensitizing entrepreneurs to the importance of digital presence and technological incorporation in business models, dematerializing processes with customers and suppliers through the use of ICT;

• To promote practices of cooperation between companies, stimulate the reduction of imports in the consumption of the Tourism sector and increasing the domestic consumption of goods or services produced locally;

• To promote eco-innovation, ecodesign and eco-construction practices, and / or waste utilization in the production of new products and services, by promoting the concept of the circular economy.

The budget allocation attributed to this competition is 500.000 euros.

ALG-51-2018-19 – FINANCIAL SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR COLLECTIVE ACTIONS – PROMOTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Beneficiaries: Business associations, non-corporate entities from the R & I system, agencies and public entities, among others.

This is intended exclusively to support projects that foster entrepreneurship in at least one of the following areas:

1.Innovative activities based on R & D results,

2.Innovative activities within the emerging areas of the Regional RIS Strategy 3: Agro-food, ICT and cultural and creative industries, renewable energy and health.

The budget allocation attributed to this competition is 500.000 euros.

Applications will run until 7:00 pm on October 30, 2018.

 

ALG-51-2018-24 – FINANCIAL SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR COLLECTIVE ACTIONS – TECHNOLOGICAL INCUBATION CENTRES

According to the notice, the priority will be to reorient the existing spaces and to articulate a coherent network (involving public and private provision) in the areas of the Regional Strategy for Research and Innovation for Intelligent Specialization - Regional RIS3.

The following entities are beneficiaries of this Notice for the Presentation of Applications (AAC):

• Non-Business Entities from the National Scientific and Technological System;

• Incubators of Technologically Based Companies

• Other non-profit public or private entities focused on supporting entrepreneurship;

The maximum FEDER co-financing rate for approved operations is 50%, except for projects in co-operation to ensure the operation of an articulated regional network in which the maximum rate is 70%.

The budget allocation attributed to this competition is 1.000.000 euros.
